What we store in your browser and why.

Last updated: 11 May 2026

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies Track My Bunny uses and the choices you have. By continuing to use the service you consent to our use of essential cookies.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — such as your login session or language preference. Local storage is a similar browser technology that stores data locally on your device without an expiry date.

It collects anonymised usage data (pages visited, session duration, approximate location at country level) and never receives your pet health data or personal account details. The following cookies are set by Google Analytics:

_ga_G-4CTFDZTT7WPersists session state across pages.2 years

Google Analytics is only active if you have accepted analytics cookies. No data is sent to Google before you give consent.

5. Third-Party Cookies

When you sign in via Google or GitHub those providers may set their own cookies during the OAuth flow. When analytics consent is granted, Google Analytics (operated by Google LLC, USA) sets the cookies described in section 4. Track My Bunny has no control over third-party cookies. Please consult Google's and GitHub's privacy policies for details.

6. Managing Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data

Disabling the essential session cookie will prevent you from staying signed in.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to how we use cookies we will update this page and notify you via an in-app banner at least 14 days in advance.
